We are looking for an experienced Civil Purchase Manager to handle procurement activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing construction materials, managing vendors, negotiating prices, ensuring timely material delivery and maintaining cost efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Identify and source construction materials from reliable vendors and suppliers.

2. Procure materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, RMC, electrical and plumbing materials.

3. Negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.

4. Prepare and process purchase orders (POs).

5. Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to understand material requirements.

6. Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.

7. Maintain vendor databases and develop robust supplier relationships.

8. Compare quotations and select cost-effective suppliers without compromising quality.

9. Monitor material prices and market trends.

10. Verify bills, invoices and delivery challans.

11. Maintain purchase records, stock updates and procurement reports.

Ensure materials meet required quality and project specifications.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.

- 3–8 years of experience in civil construction procurement or purchasing.

- Strong knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.

- Experience in vendor management and price negotiation.

- Knowledge of purchase orders, quotations and invoices.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.

Preferred Candidate
