Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Store Manager to oversee the overall operations of our textile retail store in Calicut. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, team management, customer handling, and sales management skills, along with the ability to ensure smooth day-to-day store operations and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the textile showroom.
- Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Ensure proper stock management, inventory control, and timely replenishment.
- Monitor billing, cash handling, and daily sales reports.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and showroom presentation.
- Coordinate with the purchase, warehouse, and management teams.
- Analyse sales reports and implement strategies to improve store performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies,



operational procedures, and service standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail store operations, preferably in the textile or apparel industry.
- Previous experience in managing a large retail showroom is an advantage.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Good knowledge of inventory management, sales operations, and retail processes.
- Ability to handle sales targets and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail billing/POS systems.
