We are pleased to share the Job Description for the Video Editor Intern position at our organization.

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern who has a passion for video editing, storytelling, visual creativity, and digital content creation. The candidate should have basic to intermediate editing knowledge and be interested in developing professional video editing skills through practical projects.

1. Internship Details

- Designation: Video Editor Intern
- Internship Duration: 2 Months
- Stipend: ₹5,000
- Payout: ₹5,000 will be paid upon successful completion of the 2-month internship, during the 2nd month.
- Certificate: Internship Completion Certificate will be provided upon successful completion.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, advertisements, and promotional campaigns.
- Create engaging short-form and long-form video content based on creative briefs and project requirements.
- Perform video cutting, trimming, cropping, sequencing, merging, and clip arrangement.
- Add professional transitions, visual effects, text animations, motion graphics, and creative elements.
- Synchronize background music, voiceovers, sound effects, and video footage.
- Create attractive subtitles, captions, typography, and animated text overlays.
- Perform colour correction and colour grading to maintain visual consistency.
- Develop engaging video introductions, hooks, storytelling sequences, and endings.
- Edit promotional videos, product videos, brand videos, testimonials, and social media advertisements.
- Convert raw footage into polished and engaging content suitable for different digital platforms.




- Understand and implement trending video editing styles, transitions, effects, and formats.
- Work with graphic designers, social media executives, and content creators to develop creative videos.
- Select appropriate music, sound effects, stock footage, and visual elements to improve video quality.
- Maintain proper video resolution, aspect ratio, frame rate, and export settings.
- Review feedback, make necessary revisions, and deliver final videos within deadlines.

3. Technical Knowledge & Editing Skills

Candidates should have knowledge of the following:

Video Editing Software:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Filmora
- CapCut

Video Editing Techniques:

- Cutting, trimming, splitting, and merging clips.
- Smooth transitions and effects.
- Speed ramping and slow-motion editing.
- Keyframe animation and basic motion graphics.
- Green screen and chroma key editing.
- Masking and layering techniques.
- Video stabilization and basic tracking.
- Colour correction and colour grading.
- Audio mixing, noise reduction, and sound synchronization.
- Subtitle creation and animated typography.

Social Media Video Knowledge:

- Instagram Reels and Stories editing.
- YouTube Shorts editing.
- YouTube long-form video editing.
- Facebook promotional videos.
- Product advertisements and brand promotional videos.




- Understanding trending video formats and audience engagement.

4. Skills Required

- Good creative thinking and visual storytelling skills.
- Solid understanding of video composition and sequencing.
- Knowledge of music selection and audio synchronization.
- Attention to detail and visual consistency.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and editing references.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
