- We are seeking a motivated Tool Design Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in designing and developing manufacturing tools jigs fixtures molds and tooling solutions
- The ideal candidate should possess solid CAD design skills and a good understanding of manufacturing processes tooling design standards and engineering drawings
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tooling solutions jigs fixtures gauges molds and dies based on engineering requirements
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Collaborate with production quality and manufacturing teams to optimize tool performance
- Review product designs to ensure manufacturability and tooling feasibility
- Perform design modifications and engineering change implementations
- Support tool trials testing validation and troubleshooting activities
- Generate BOMs Bill of Materials and maintain design documentation
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards safety guidelines and customer specifications
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for tool manufacturing and development activities
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in CATIA Creo NX SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of Tool Design GD T Tolerance Stack up and Engineering Drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as Machining Casting Injection Molding Sheet Metal and Assembly
- Familiarity with tooling materials and manufacturing methods
- Basic understanding of DFMEA Design Validation and Quality Processes
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
