# Job Description: Senior AI Engineer AI/ML & Generative AI

## About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on AI Engineer with strong Python development skills and experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, and cloud-based deployments. The role involves working on diverse AI use cases across business domains, developing end-to-end solutions using appropriate AI/ML techniques, and deploying scalable, secure applications on Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

## Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for diverse business use cases across multiple domains.

- Build LLM-powered applications and RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector search, retrieval optimization, and response generation.

- Apply traditional machine learning, deep learning, and other relevant modelling techniques based on business requirements.

- Develop production-ready Python applications, REST APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems.

- Build and deploy end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, covering data processing, model development, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.

- Leverage Azure and Databricks services for AI development, orchestration, model management, and deployment.

- Implement security best practices, including access control, secrets management, data protection, and safeguards for LLM applications.

- Collaborate with business, engineering,



infrastructure, and security teams to deliver reliable AI solutions.

## Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in AI/ML engineering, software engineering, or related technical roles.

- Robust hands-on Python programming and software development skills.

- Practical experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG-based applications.

- Working knowledge of traditional ML algorithms, deep learning, and model evaluation techniques.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

- Proven experience deploying end-to-end AI/ML solutions or pipelines in production or production-like environments.

- Understanding of embeddings, vector databases/search, APIs, MLOps, and model monitoring.

- Working knowledge of IT security, cloud security, identity and access management, and secure application development.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

## Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure OpenAI, Databricks Apps, Databricks Model Serving, and Hands-on experience deploying and hosting web applications on cloud platforms or on-premises servers,.

- Familiarity with frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Hugging Face, Lang Chain, or Llama Index.

- Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, automated deployment, AI evaluation, and responsible AI practices.
