Duration: Dismantling will be six (6) months in Pune & Next phase of erection will be 18 Months in Ghana

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Engineer to supervise and monitor civil and structural activities for the dismantling, assessment, preservation and transportation of a 388 MW Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plant.

The candidate should have strong experience in thermal power plants, combined cycle power plants, industrial structures, heavy foundations, structural inspections and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise civil and structural dismantling activities involving Gas Turbine (GT), Steam Turbine (ST), HRSG, Generator and Balance of Plant (BOP) facilities.

- Inspect existing foundations, concrete structures, buildings and underground utilities before dismantling.

- Assess structural integrity and identify damages or deficiencies.

- Monitor dismantling of turbine foundations, equipment pedestals, pipe racks, cable trenches, control rooms, pump houses and other industrial structures.

- Review civil and structural drawings, technical specifications and contractor method statements.

- Monitor removal of structural steel members,



platforms, stairways, handrails and equipment supports.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements.

- Conduct site inspections, maintain quality records and support NCR closure.

- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary teams.

- Monitor project progress, contractor performance and approved schedules.

- Coordinate with teams involved in heavy equipment handling, removal and transportation.

- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, inspection records and punch lists.

Mandatory Requirements

- BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering.

- Minimum 15 years of overall experience in Civil & Structural Engineering.

- Solid experience in Thermal Power Plants / Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP).

- Hands-on experience in industrial structures, equipment foundations and structural inspections.

- Experience in civil construction, site supervision, QA/QC and contractor coordination.

- Knowledge of structural stability, dismantling methodologies and HSE compliance.

Preferred Experience

- Gas-Based Combined Cycle Power Plant projects.

- Thermal power plant projects in the 200 500 MW range.

- Power plant dismantling, demolition, decommissioning or asset relocation projects.

- Experience with GT, ST, HRSG and BOP civil structures and foundations.
