Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Automotive Engineering. Job Summary Responsible for ensuring quality and compliance throughout the automotive product design and development lifecycle. The role focuses on process management, CMMI implementation, quality audits, risk management, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate, develop, and improve product design and development processes.
• Conduct process audits and identify gaps across Engineering, Smart Network, and Vehicle Integration.
• Perform product development gate reviews and coordinate design reviews.
• Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems in compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and CMMI practices.
• Drive process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).




• Identify and mitigate risks related to product design and development.
• Manage design release documents, audit reports, and product gate clearance documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, NPD, and Program Management teams.
• Conduct quality and process-related training and ensure regulatory compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–10 years of experience in product design and development quality.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (formerly ISO/TS 16949), and CMMI.
• Experience in process audits, design reviews, and product development lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Risk Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and automotive product development standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• ASQ CQE or CMMI certification will be an added advantage.
