About The Role
We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-oriented Home Automation Technician to install, configure, troubleshoot and maintain smart home automation systems at customer homes and project sites across Bengaluru.



The role involves installing smart touch panels, smart retrofits, dimming modules, sensors, smart curtain motors, smart locks and video door phones. The technician will also configure devices, connect them to the home automation hub, set up scenes and routines, and provide after-sales service and customer support.

Key Responsibilities
• Site Survey and Installation
• Perform site surveys, check switchboards, loads and Wi-Fi coverage, and identify installation requirements before starting work.
• Install and configure smart touch panels, Elite Series panels, smart retrofits, dimming modules, motion and intelligent sensors, and universal IR remotes.
• Install and set up smart curtain motors, smart locks and video door phones.
• Set up the Hub and connect devices to it, so scenes and routines run locally.
• Configure rooms, scenes, routines, schedules and multi-user access in the mobile app, and link Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant where the customer wants voice control.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and installation standards.
• Coordination, Testing and Handover
• Coordinate with electricians, interior teams and project managers,



and guide partner electricians on installation standards.
• Test every device, scene and routine before project handover.
• Walk customers through the app, voice control and manual switch use, plus basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain installation checklists, service reports, device records and customer feedback.
• After-Sales Service and Support
• Troubleshoot device connectivity, Wi-Fi, pairing, Hub, app configuration and operational issues.
• Handle customer service requests, maintenance visits, warranty cases and post-installation complaints.
• Maintain a professional relationship with customers and follow up promptly until issues are resolved.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the engineering team and coordinate until closure. Candidate Requirements Required Skills
• ITI, Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant hands-on experience in electrical installation, smart home systems or technical field service.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, switchboards, relays, power supplies and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi-based smart devices, mobile apps, device pairing and wireless connectivity.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Strong customer-handling skills, polite communication and a service-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations across Bengaluru.
• Ability to document service visits and give timely updates to the operations team.
