Role Description This full-time remote Technical Analyst role focuses on supporting and optimizing Taxcart’s tax engine integrations for customers worldwide. The Technical Analyst will analyze transaction data and system behavior, identify tax calculation issues, and recommend improvements to ensure accurate and consistent results. Daily tasks include troubleshooting technical problems, providing technical support to internal teams and clients, documenting findings, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to resolve incidents and enhance features. The role also involves interpreting business requirements, translating them into technical specifications,



and contributing to process and workflow optimization to improve system performance and customer experience. Qualifications
- Strong Technical Analysis and Analytical Skills to interpret data, diagnose system behavior, and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to resolve integration, configuration, and performance issues.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with APIs, SaaS platforms, or ERP/e-commerce integrations is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with tax domains such as sales tax, VAT, or GST, or a willingness to learn regulatory concepts quickly.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in data analysis tools, SQL, or scripting languages is a plus.
