- Develop CNC programs for plasma cutting of steel plates used in PEB manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with CNC nesting software for material optimization and minimum plate wastage.
- Prepare nesting layouts using CAD/CAM software and convert drawings into machine-ready programs.
- Optimize cutting sequences, plate utilization, and machine productivity.
- Set and optimize cutting parameters, including cutting speed, kerf, and pierce settings.
- Coordinate with production and design teams to ensure accurate cutting and timely completion.
- Troubleshoot CNC programming errors and support machine operators.
- Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in CNC plasma cutting programming.
- - Practical knowledge of nesting software such as SigmaNEST, Hypertherm ProNest, Lantek, or equivalent.
- - Knowledge of steel plate cutting and structural steel fabrication.
- Experience in PEB or heavy steel fabrication will be preferred.
- Valuable understanding of engineering drawings and CNC machine operations.
- Candidate Profile
Diploma / ITI / Mechanical Engineering qualification with relevant CNC plasma programming and nesting experience.
