1. Role ObjectiveTo independently manage technical estimation and quotation preparation for Eternia aluminium window systems using EVA software, including quotation revisions and order processing.

The position will also support blinds estimation, quantity take-offs, architectural drawing interpretation, basic AutoCAD work and other technical estimation requirements.

The role combines technical drawing knowledge, numerical ability, product understanding and commercial accuracy.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Eternia Windows – EVA Software

- Prepare quotations for Eternia aluminium window systems using EVA software.
- Understand window configurations, dimensions, opening styles, profiles, glass specifications, colours, hardware and accessories.
- Interpret architectural drawings and derive window-wise dimensions and configurations.
- Enter accurate technical parameters into EVA.
- Prepare quotations and manage subsequent client-driven revisions.
- Explore technically feasible configurations and cost optimisation options.
- Convert approved quotations into orders through EVA.
- Verify all technical and commercial parameters before order submission.
- Coordinate with the sales team and Eternia technical representatives for clarifications.

B. Blinds Estimation

- Read architectural plans, elevations and window schedules.
- Identify window locations and dimensions.
- Calculate blind quantities based on width and height.
- Calculate areas in square feet and square metres.




- Understand different blind categories and their measurement requirements.
- Prepare product-wise BOQs and estimation sheets.
- Account for relevant accessories, controls and motorisation requirements.
- Support the sales team with revised quantities and quotations.

C. CAD & Drawing Support

- Work with AutoCAD 2D drawings.
- Open, read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Understand plans, elevations, sections and reflected ceiling plans.
- Measure dimensions and identify product locations.
- Make basic drawing modifications, annotations and markups.
- Prepare easy layouts and measurement references.
- Identify missing dimensions and discrepancies and raise technical queries.

D. General Estimation & Technical Support

- Calculate quantities of lighting fixtures, blinds, windows and other architectural products.
- Prepare Excel-based BOQs and quantity statements.
- Assist with product comparisons and alternative specifications.
- Support other product teams during estimation workload fluctuations.
- Maintain quotation records, revision history and technical documentation.

3. Technical Skills RequiredMandatory:

- Basic to intermediate AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read architectural and interior drawings.
- Good understanding of measurements, dimensions and area calculations.
- Good MS Excel knowledge.
- Numerical accuracy and logical reasoning.




- Ability to prepare BOQs and quantity estimates.

Preferred:

- Experience with aluminium or UPVC window estimation.
- Exposure to blinds, lighting or architectural building products.
- Experience with quotation/configuration software.
- Prior exposure to EVA software is an advantage, but not compulsory.

4. Educational BackgroundCandidates with any of the following qualifications may apply:

- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Diploma in Interior Design.
- Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.
- ITI Draftsman (Civil / Mechanical) with relevant estimation experience.

- Accuracy of dimensions and technical parameters entered in EVA.
- Accuracy of blinds measurements and quantity calculations.
- Percentage of quotations requiring corrections due to internal errors.
- Accuracy of final orders placed through EVA.
- Turnaround time for client-driven revisions.
- Quality and completeness of BOQs and estimation sheets.
- Maintenance of proper quotation and revision records.

Important: The role is primarily quotation and estimation-oriented. CAD is a supporting competency. Advanced CAD/CAM, 3D modelling and manufacturing programming are not required.
