Role Description The Video Editor Intern role is a full-time position responsible for supporting the creation of high-quality video content that aligns with Happy Living’s mental health and wellness messaging. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage into polished videos, adding basic motion graphics or text overlays, and optimizing aspect ratios and formats for social media and other digital channels. The intern will assist in organizing footage, syncing audio, applying color corrections, and preparing final exports.

Collaboration with the content and marketing teams is expected to maintain consistent visual style and ensure videos are accurate, engaging,



and empathetic toward the audience’s mental health needs.

Qualifications

- Solid understanding of Video Production and basic on-set or remote recording workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Editing, including cutting, transitions, audio alignment, and exporting in multiple formats.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance overall look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and social media visuals.
- Familiarity with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar tools).
- Robust attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to follow brand guidelines and creative direction.
- Interest in mental health, wellness, and empathetic storytelling; prior experience in health or wellness content is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a relevant program (e.g., Film, Media, Communications, Design) or equivalent practical experience.
