About the role :

- Define and execute the product engineering strategy, aligning with overall business objectives and market needs.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of software engineers and project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the product engineering budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

What we're looking for :

- 18+ years of overall experience and at least 12 years of leadership experience.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within product engineering or software development.
- Extensive experience with Budget Management and financial oversight for engineering departments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Change Management within a dynamic technological environment.
- Exceptional Communication, Influencing, and Negotiation skills.
- Strong ability in Group Problem Solving and leading teams to successful resolutions.
- A track record of being inspirational, motivating, and developing high-performing teams.
- Expertise in People Management, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Demonstrated success in Project Delivery, consistently bringing products to market on time and within budget.
- Deep understanding of Software Development principles and practices.
- Extensive experience in Software Engineering, including architecture, design, and implementation.
- Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including the Waterfall Model.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
