Role Description This is an in office Snowflake Data Engineer role based in Hyderabad for experienced professionals with 8+ years in data engineering and analytics.

The Snowflake Data

Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes on Snowflake to support reporting, analytics, and AI-driven use cases. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and maintaining data models, implementing data warehousing solutions, monitoring data quality and performance, and collaborating with data scientists, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data solutions.



The role also involves optimizing Snowflake configurations, managing security and governance, documenting technical designs, and supporting production deployments and incident resolution.

Qualifications

- Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining data pipelines and integration workflows.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing, with experience designing dimensional and relational models on Snowflake or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) / ELT tools and frameworks for orchestrating data workflows.
- Applied Data Analytics experience, enabling the creation of reliable datasets for BI, reporting, and machine learning use cases.
- 8+ years of overall data engineering experience, including at least 3–4 years working directly with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with one or more programming languages (such as Python or Scala) for data processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services used with Snowflake.
- Understanding of data governance, security, performance tuning, and best practices for large-scale data environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
