About the Role The SME – Compliance & Governance role at AdaniConneX is a critical position responsible for ensuring that data center operations, infrastructure, and management systems comply with global standards, customer requirements, regulatory frameworks, and industry best practices.

This role acts as the custodian of quality, compliance, governance, audit readiness, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across AdaniConneX data centers.

Compliance & Governance The SME – Compliance and Governance will be responsible for end to end responsibility of compliance to various Audit Standards like ISO 45001, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO20001, ISO23001, PCI DSS, ISAE 3401 & SSAE 18, ESG etc.

Education/Experience

- 5-12 Year of Experience in SME Operations
- Bachelor Engineering Degree
- CDCP certification is a plus.
- Course/certification in relevant domain is a plus
- Relevant experience in Data Centers field is mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Ensure design and redundancies in place to meet SLA’s towards customers 100% Uptime
- Through knowledge of Mechanical equipment’s / systems including HT/LT Chillers, CPM, PAHU/PAC Units, Dehumidifiers, Air Flow Balancing, CFD Analysis, Active Tiles, In Row Colling System, TFA & AHU Units etc.
- Responsible for validation of design as per Tier 3 / Customized need of Customer [BTS sites] and ensure Operational aspects, both from uptime & safety point of view
- Responsible for going through / witness T&C; reports / activities against all 1 to 5 Levels which includes FAT, Commissioning & IST etc along with relevant stakeholders and ensure compliance
- Responsible for validation of check lists / scripts against various tests and work with concerned for any changes
- Responsible for training Operations Team on philosophy and SOP in operating various equipment’s as per design and OEM recommendations
- Responsible for L&D; needs of Operations team on Operational Philosophy & newer technologies at regular intervals




- Responsible for conducting annual activities/audits i.e. air flow balancing, RA & RTP, Aspect & Impact, safety and come out with correction action plan
- Responsible for working closely with Engineering Team and OEM’s to under the latest developments globally with in DC industry and study them for relevance and applicability for operational efficiency
- Responsible for participation in Customer Meetings while addressing Severity 0 / service impacting incidents and support in preparing RCA & CAPA with action tracker
- Responsible for Monthly Management Reporting and various MIS
- Will take initiative to ensure that quality and efficiency standards are raised for all the equipment in the datacenter. This includes finding ways to delivery cost savings to AdaniConneX without sacrificing quality.
- Responsible for preparing & managing Capex requirements in meeting operational efficiency
- Finds ways to increase energy efficiency without sacrificing continuity or uptime of the site.
- Works effectively and efficiently with others inside the organization. In Emergencies, is responsible for the timely response to ensure safety and operational continuity on site.
- Strong communications, both written and verbal, in leading teams and coordinating with peers and other disciplines on driving projects/issues to closure. Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to organizational excellence and constant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/quality of deliverables.
- Superb ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities. Superb ability to meet committed timelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers.
- Solid and effective team player in working with various disciplines and peer groups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to ‘getting a job done.
- Responsible for inputs towards Customer RFP’s pertaining to electrical domain and participation in DC Tours by high level Customers
- Responsible for designing solution towards customized needs of Customers, in close coordination with Engineering, Feasibility and Consultants.
