Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform blood collection procedures such as phlebotomy and venipuncture.
- Conduct clinical pathology tests including hematological analysis, coagulation studies, and cross-matching.
- Manage patient care during transfusions, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and handling of blood products.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans for patients requiring blood transfusions or other immunohematological interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, test results, and inventory management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine department.
- Robust knowledge of blood bank operations, clinical pathology techniques, and transfusion medicine principles.
- Medical-MS/MD degree from a recognized institution.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
