Job Overview

We are seeking a data-driven Process Excellence & MIS Analyst to anchor our operational reporting and performance analytics within the Service Partner Operations team in Kolkata. This role is heavily centered on Management Information Systems (MIS), daily data management, automated reporting, and deep-dive analytics to optimize last-mile logistics and channel operations performance.

You will be responsible for transforming raw operational data from the field into clear, executive-level dashboards, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting ground-level process improvement through data insights.

Key Responsibilities & KPIs

1. Management Information Systems (MIS) & Reporting

- Daily / Weekly / Monthly MIS Management: Design, automate, and maintain routine operational dashboards, MIS reports, and performance scorecards for the Kolkata region.
- Performance & SLA Tracking: Continuously monitor and report on key logistics metrics, including delivery compliance, turn-around time (TAT), first-mile/last-mile efficiency, and service partner SLAs.
- Data Verification & Audit Support: Reconcile ground-level operational data against system logs to identify discrepancies, leakage, and non-compliance during field audits and investigations.

2. Advanced Analytics & Excel Modeling

- Advanced Excel Operations: Utilize advanced Excel functions (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Nested IFs, Dynamic Pivot Tables, Data Validation, Power Query, Macros/VBA) to clean, consolidate, and model multi-source logistics datasets.
- Analytical Curiosity: Conduct trend analysis, variance analysis,



and root-cause analyses on operational bottlenecks and incident reports to highlight performance gaps.
- Data-Driven Action Plans: Support local action plan development by providing actionable quantitative evidence and impact projections to field operations teams.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Alignment

- On-the-Ground Data Alignment: Work closely with field auditors, hub operations, and last-mile teams to gather unstructured operational feedback and convert it into structured metrics.
- Cross-Functional Governance: Present periodic data insights and risk highlights to hub managers, service partner managers, and regional leadership to drive process adherence.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Adapt reporting frameworks quickly to accommodate emergency operational shifts, system changes, or new logistics channel rollouts.

Key Requirements

- MIS & Data Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and dashboard preparation (Logistics, Express Cargo, Supply Chain, or E-commerce background preferred).
- Advanced Excel Skills (Mandatory): Mastery in complex formulas, Power Query, automated reporting workflows, and data visualization. (Note: Candidates will undergo a strict practical Excel assessment during the interview process).
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to spot anomalies in large datasets quickly.
- Communication: Ability to articulate data-driven findings clearly to both ground-level operational staff and senior stakeholders.
- Location: Based at DTDC Bhawan, Kolkata, with occasional visits to local hubs/clusters for data validation.
