Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer with a strong background in SMT manufacturing, PCBA assembly, electronics troubleshooting, machine programming and production support.

The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and technical support of SMT machines and electronics manufacturing equipment at customer locations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SMT production lines, machine setup, equipment operation, electrical and electronic troubleshooting, and customer technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of SMT machines and electronics manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
- Provide technical support for SMT production lines, including Pick & Place, Solder Paste Printers, SPI, AOI and related equipment.
- Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical and process-related machine issues and identify root causes.
- Handle preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and breakdown support.
- Support machine programming, setup, feeder configuration, calibration and process optimization.
- Troubleshoot PCBA-related issues through schematic analysis, signal tracing, component-level inspection and electrical testing.
- Conduct machine performance checks and ensure equipment functionality after service activities.
- Coordinate with customers, production teams and internal technical teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Prepare service reports, maintenance records, breakdown reports and customer feedback documentation.




- Provide technical training and operational guidance to customer engineers and operators.
- Support machine upgrades, process improvements and technical demonstrations.
- Travel to customer locations across India as required.

Technical Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes and PCBA assembly.
- Hands-on exposure to SMT machines such as Panasonic, Yamaha, JUKI and similar equipment.
- Knowledge of Pick & Place machines, solder paste printers, SPI and AOI.
- Understanding of electronics circuits, PCB troubleshooting and schematic analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as Digital Multimeter and Oscilloscope.
- Understanding of machine programming, setup and calibration.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP, MES, production documentation and quality standards is an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, ECE or EEE.

Experience Requirements

- 2–5 years of experience in SMT, PCBA manufacturing, electronics equipment maintenance or technical service.
- Experience in SMT machine troubleshooting and production support.
- Candidates with OEM technical support, customer-site service or equipment commissioning experience will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
