Role Description The Management Trainee role is a full time, in office position based in Kochi. The trainee will rotate across key supermarket functions such as store operations, merchandising, customer service, inventory management, and basic finance and administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting store managers in monitoring sales performance, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, coordinating with staff to maintain store layout and stock levels, and assisting in resolving customer queries.

The role also involves preparing reports, analyzing operational data,



and participating in process improvement initiatives under the guidance of senior leaders. Over time, the trainee will be groomed for supervisory or junior management responsibilities within the retail network.Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including basic data interpretation and report preparation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with store teams and interact with customers.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet operational deadlines.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering a positive in-store experience and resolving issues promptly.
- Basic understanding of retail operations, sales, and merchandising principles; prior internship or project experience in retail is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management, or a related field; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort working with retail or POS systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by supermarket operations.
