Accounts Intern

About JBN Modular

JBN Modular is an interior and furniture brand specialising in custom-designed modular kitchens, wardrobes, and complete residential and commercial interior solutions. We're growing, and we're looking for a motivated accounts intern to join our finance team and learn how accounts run in a fast-moving interiors business.

The Role

You'll support our accounts team with day-to-day bookkeeping and documentation, gaining hands-on experience with real business accounting under the guidance of experienced team members.

Responsibilities

- Enter sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries in the accounting software (Tally or similar)
- Prepare and track invoices, quotations and payment follow-ups
- Help with bank reconciliation and petty cash records
- Maintain vendor and customer records and ledgers
- Assist with GST data preparation and filing support
- Organise and file bills, vouchers and accounting documents (physical and digital)




- Prepare simple reports and statements in Excel
- Support the accounts team with any other tasks assigned

Requirements
- Pursuing or completed B.Com, M.Com, BBA, or a CMA / CA / CS foundation or intermediate level
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Familiarity with Tally is an advantage
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Valuable communication skills in Malayalam and English
