We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with 5 years of core hands-on experience in building robust data pipelines, integration workflows, and modernizing data architectures. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes while participating in a key modernization initiative—migrating existing legacy data pipelines from Talend to Apache Kafka and monitoring systems from Splunk to Grafana.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Skills required:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and data warehousing.
- ETL Tools: Strong proficiency with at least one major ETL tool: Talend (Highly Preferred), IBM DataStage, or Teradata.
- Cloud Integration: Proven hands-on experience developing pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Streaming Platform: Mid-level, working knowledge of Apache Kafka (architecture, producers/consumers, topics, data streaming).
- Databases & SQL: Strong proficiency in SQL with deep experience in database querying, index management, and query optimization across any major RDBMS/Cloud DB (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata).
- Data Warehousing (DWH): Strong understanding of standard DWH concepts, enterprise data architecture,



ETL scheduling, CDC (Change Data Capture), and data modeling.

Key Competencies

- Prior exposure to Splunk for log querying, system alerting, and monitoring.
- Learning Agility: Openness and willingness to quickly learn Java (for backend/Kafka integrations) and Grafana (for custom observability dashboards)

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
