Job Summary

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Warehouse Operations Management

- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, dispatch, and inventory movement.
- Ensure smooth functioning of inbound and outbound logistics activities.
- Monitor warehouse workflows to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely loading and unloading of materials/products.

2. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control systems.
- Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and physical verification.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor stock aging, damaged goods, and obsolete inventory.

3. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

- Coordinate with logistics and transportation teams for timely dispatches.
- Ensure proper documentation for shipment processing.
- Track dispatch schedules and resolve delivery-related issues.
- Optimize transportation planning for cost-effective delivery.

4. Team Leadership & Supervision

- Manage and supervise warehouse staff, supervisors, and helpers.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Conduct training for process improvement and safety compliance.
- Build a productive and disciplined work environment.

5. Process Optimization





- Identify process gaps and implement warehouse improvement initiatives.
- Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization.
- Improve productivity through workflow planning and automation tools.

6. Compliance & Safety

- Ensure adherence to warehouse safety policies and operational SOPs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

7. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse performance reports.
- Maintain records of stock movement, dispatches, and returns.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducational Qualification

- Skilled degree or certification in Warehouse Management.

Experience

- Minimum 4+ years of warehouse management experience in commodity products.
- Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, retail, or from logistics industries.

Technical Skills

- Inventory Management Systems (IMS)
- ERP / SAP / WMS knowledge
