Job description: Job Summary : The Motor Winder is responsible for rewinding, repairing, and maintaining electric motors, generators, and related electrical equipment to ensure smooth plant operations with mínimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities :

- Dismantling and assembling AC/DC motors.
- Rewinding of induction motors, slip ring motors, and brake motors.
- Coil winding, insulation, varnishing, and baking of motor windings.
- Testing of motors using megger, multimeter, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Identifying electrical faults and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Bearing replacement and alignment of motor shafts.
- Maintenance of crane motors, rolling mill motors, and plant utility motors.
- Ensuring proper documentation of repair and maintenance activities.
- Maintaining safety standards during electrical work.

Technical Skills Required :

- Knowledge of motor winding calculations.




- Understanding of electrical drawings and motor connection diagrams.
- Experience in handling HT/LT motors (if applicable).
- Familiarity with insulation materials and varnishing process.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards.

Qualification :

- ITI (Electrician / Electrical Trade) or equivalent.
- Diploma in Electrical (preferred).

Experience :

- 5-8 years of experience in motor rewinding and electrical maintenance.
- Experience in steel plant / rolling mill will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
