About SGEL

Saravana Global Energy Limited (SGEL) is a manufacturer of electrical substation insulators up to 765 kV, with approvals from various State Electricity Boards, RDSO, and PGCIL. Our manufacturing facility is located in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu.

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Regional Marketing Assistant Manager to manage customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and drive sales growth across Northern India.

Key Responsibilities

- Regularly visit customers and follow up on business opportunities across the Northern Region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with State Electricity Boards, utilities, EPC contractors, PGCIL, RDSO, and other electrical industry customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and understand customer requirements and upcoming project needs.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, pricing negotiations, and commercial discussions.
- Drive order finalization and coordinate order execution with the factory team.
- Follow up on technical approvals, inspections, dispatches, and customer payments.




- Participate in State Board and utility tenders and coordinate tender-related activities with the factory team.
- Monitor competitor activities, market developments, and upcoming projects across Northern India.
- Submit regular customer visit reports, market updates, enquiry status, and order booking reports to management.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.

Candidate Profile

- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Marketing or Sales within the electrical manufacturing or Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) industry.
- Experience in electrical insulators, substation equipment, T&D; products, switchyard equipment, or related products will be preferred.
- Good understanding of State Electricity Board, PGCIL, and RDSO requirements and tender procedures.
- Robust customer relationship management, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Northern India.
- Good communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage customer meetings, commercial negotiations, order follow-ups, and business development activities.
