RCU Manager - NBFC Client

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced RCU (Risk Containment Unit) Manager to join our Client at Gurugram who are a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC).

The RCU Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the fraud prevention and risk mitigation efforts across the lending portfolio.

This role requires a solid understanding of financial products, fraud detection techniques, and regulatory compliance within the NBFC sector.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building and managing effective RCU teams and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and continuously refine robust risk containment strategies and policies to minimize fraud losses.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of RCU executives and field investigators, ensuring high performance and adherence to established protocols.
- Oversee the pre-disbursement verification processes for loan applications, including document verification, field investigations, and customer background checks.
- Conduct thorough post-disbursement fraud investigations, identifying suspicious activities,



gathering evidence, and recommending appropriate actions.
- Analyze fraud trends, patterns, and emerging risks to proactively develop countermeasures and enhance existing controls.
- Collaborate closely with credit, operations, collections, legal, and product teams to integrate fraud prevention measures across the entire loan lifecycle.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and legal requirements related to fraud management and data protection.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on RCU activities, fraud losses, recovery efforts, and team performance to senior management.
- Implement and leverage technology solutions for enhanced fraud detection, data analytics, and case management.
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on fraud awareness and prevention best practices.
- Manage external vendor relationships related to investigation services and verification processes.
