Job Description – Sales Officer (General Trade)

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sales Officer with at least 1.5 years of experience in General Trade within the FMCG industry. The candidate should have experience in handling distributors, retailers, market visits, order generation, and achieving sales targets across assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle General Trade sales activities in the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure proper product placement, merchandising, and brand visibility at retail outlets.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Manage distributor networks and ensure timely order placement.
- Follow up on payments and outstanding dues.




- Prepare daily sales reports and provide market feedback to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1.5 years of experience in FMCG General Trade sales.
- Experience in handling distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of market development and territory management.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work independently.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
