Role Description The Estimation Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for projects involving gas equipment, utility control systems, and cleanroom installations. The Estimation Engineer will analyze drawings and specifications, conduct site visits when required, and coordinate with design, projects, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.



Day-to-day tasks include researching material and labor costs, evaluating vendor quotations, updating estimation databases, and supporting negotiations with clients and suppliers. The role also involves assisting in project budgeting, tracking estimation assumptions, and contributing to process improvements in the estimation function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess research skills to analyze costs, specifications, and market data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- Experience in industrial, utility, or cleanroom projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation or costing software.
- Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and ability to read technical drawings.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Experience: Freshers and 0–2 years
