Role Description The Speech Therapist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering one-on-one and small-group intervention sessions. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, monitoring progress, and communicating regularly with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals. The Speech Therapist will educate caregivers on home-based strategies, contribute to case discussions, and participate in clinic-based quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time,



on-site role based at aakaar clinic in Mumbai.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention.
- Candidates should possess skills in managing Speech and Communication Disorders, with the ability to tailor therapy to individual needs.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language intervention across age groups.
- Candidates should possess clinical competence in assessing and treating Dysphagia, and in implementing safe swallowing strategies.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Valid professional registration or license, as applicable, and adherence to ethical clinical practice standards.
- Robust interpersonal, counseling, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in pediatric and/or adult caseloads, familiarity with standardized tools, and openness to ongoing professional development.
