Role Description This is a full-time, in office Associate Lawyer role based in New Delhi. The Associate Lawyer will assist in handling case files, including legal research, drafting pleadings, applications, written arguments, and contracts, as well as preparing case notes and briefs. The role involves appearing before various courts and tribunals under guidance, coordinating with clients for case updates and documentation, and supporting senior counsel in strategy and preparation. The Associate Lawyer will manage deadlines, maintain organized records, and stay updated on relevant laws, rules, and precedents to support ongoing matters.

Money matters:



The associates will be compensated on different stages of the case. There is no fixed salary.

Qualifications: LLB, LLM

- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and legal precedents.
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, contracts, written submissions, and legal opinions with clear and precise language.
- Ability to appear in courts and tribunals, assist in oral arguments, and effectively present facts and legal issues.
- Client-handling skills, including clear communication, professional demeanor, and the ability to manage expectations.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills to handle multiple matters and strict deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council required.
- Working knowledge of civil and criminal procedure; prior internship or experience in litigation will be an advantage.
- Comfort with legal research databases, word processing tools, and basic office software.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, continuous learning, and teamwork within the chambers.
