Full time | On-Site Industry: Power Transmission & Infrastructure Role Description We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Vice President / Head – Transmission & Power Projects to lead and drive our power transmission business. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in 220 kV/132kV/33 kV and transmission line projects, along with proven leadership capabilities in business development, project execution, team management and overall business operations. The candidate will be responsible for expanding business opportunities, building a strong technical and execution team, overseeing project delivery and ensuring successful execution of projects within defined timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Business Development:



Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, participate in tenders and drive growth in the Power Transmission & Distribution segment.
• Project Execution: Lead and oversee 132/133 kV and 220 kV transmission line projects from planning and mobilisation through execution, commissioning and completion.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee engineering, project planning, surveys, drawings, BOQs, material planning, technical approvals and execution methodologies.
• Team Building: Build, lead and mentor an experienced team of project managers, engineers, supervisors and site execution personnel.
• Resource Management: Ensure the availability and effective deployment of skilled manpower, contractors, machinery, materials and other project resources.
• Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, productivity, budgets, schedules, quality and safety standards across multiple sites.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, government authorities, vendors and other key stakeholders.
• Business & Financial Oversight: Manage project profitability, cost control, resource utilisation and business performance.
• Operational Leadership: Establish effective systems, processes and reporting structures to improve execution efficiency and strengthen the overall transmission business. Desired Candidate Profile

Tech in Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Power Transmission & Distribution projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in 220 kV/132 kV/33 kV transmission line GSS and AIS/GIS (Grid Substation) projects.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership / managerial position.
• Proven track record of independently leading large-scale transmission projects and execution teams.
• Experience in business development, tendering, client management and identifying new business opportunities.
• Strong understanding of transmission line engineering, project planning, procurement, contracts, budgeting and execution.
• Ability to recruit, develop and lead experienced technical and site execution teams.
• Strong commercial understanding, decision-making abilities and excellent leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and oversee project sites as required.
