About the role
We are looking for a seasoned leader to build and lead a centralized Process Excellence & Audit function from the ground up. This role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, operational audits, SOP management, process standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a solid blend of Process Excellence, Quality, Operational Audit, Internal Controls, and leadership experience, along with the ability to drive organization-wide transformation and operational maturity

Requirements:
• 12+ years of relevant experience in Process Excellence, Quality, Operational Audit, Internal Controls, or Transformation, including significant leadership experience.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing organization-wide SOP/process governance and audit frameworks.
• Experience building and developing teams and partnering with multiple functions and senior leadership.
• Lean Six Sigma, ISO auditor, CIA, CISA, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred, based on the candidate’s domain background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Healthcare, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Key responsibilities
• Define the vision, charter, governance model, and operating framework for the Process Excellence & Audit function.
• Develop and execute a phased roadmap to establish and mature the function.
• Assess current process maturity, governance effectiveness, controls, risks, and improvement opportunities across departments.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide SOP governance and process standardization frameworks.
• Establish operational audit methodologies, controls, reporting structures, escalation mechanisms, and review processes.




• Develop and execute risk-based audit programs across business functions.
• Lead process reviews to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, compliance risks, duplication, and automation opportunities.
• Drive RCA, CAPA, governance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build, develop, mentor, and scale a high-performing Process Excellence & Audit team.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and leadership reporting to measure process maturity, audit effectiveness, and business impact.
