About the Role
ACKO is seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Business Partner for a business vertical at Acko. We're looking for a skilled who can operate as a true partner to the business, not a pure reporting or MIS function. You'll be expected to independently identify and track the key strategic input metrics for your business, question and deep-dive with stakeholders, and drive cost or growth outcomes through influence rather than oversight. This role calls for strong judgment, a bias for problem-solving over reporting, and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and cross-functional stakeholders. • Act as a genuine finance partner to a fast-scaling consumer business, not a reporting or MIS function
• Shape cost and growth decisions across some of ACKO's most strategically important segments
• Build direct, senior-level influence with business, product, and operations stakeholders
• Own a business end-to-end — from defining the right metrics to solving problems at the root cause

Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Financial Ownership – Act as the primary Business Finance partner for your assigned vertical (Auto, or Health, Life, Travel & Labs), owning the relevant cost or P&L; agenda end-to-end Strategic Metric Definition & Tracking – Independently identify and track the key strategic input metrics for the business on a regular cadence,



using judgment rather than waiting to be told what to measure Root-Cause Problem Solving – Go beyond reporting numbers to identify what's really driving performance — operational breakdowns, customer issues, cost leakages — and work with stakeholders to resolve them Stakeholder Management & Influence – Build strong, senior-level working relationships across Operations, Claims and Customer Support And Business and product leadership with the ability to influence decisions, not just service requests Cost & Investment Analysis – Build financial frameworks, business cases, and ROI/cost analyses to support key business decisions and growth initiatives Cross-Functional Coordination – Work closely with FP&A;, Controllership, and other Finance functions to ensure consistent reporting, cost allocation, and reconciliation practices Driving Operational Efficiency & Automation
- Work on transformation of operational processes followed by Finance and Business teams, Develop dashboards for management reporting/ finance analytics, budgeting and forecasting modelling templates Education &

Skills:
• PG/ MBA Finance or CA from with 6+ years of relevant experience in finance business partnering roles.
• Strong business analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Input-oriented mindset — comfortable digging into operational detail to solve problems rather than only reporting outcomes
• Ability to delivery in short deadlines and manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, rapid-paced environment
