Frontier IMM:
Role purpose
Work closely with the OU Marketing Director to bring the Frontier marketing strategy to life in market. The OU Marketing Director sets the strategic direction and the priority marketing moments. The Frontier IMM owns turning that direction into customer proof, high-impact moments and measurable business outcomes.
Partnership with the OU Marketing Director
Take strategic direction from the OU Marketing Director on Frontier priorities, target audiences, key messages and the annual calendar of marketing moments.
Turn that direction into detailed execution plans with clear owners, timelines, budgets and success measures.
Track progress, risks, trade-offs and results, and raise decisions early.
Share field insights, customer signals and lessons learned with the OU Marketing Director and IMMs to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
Customer story program
Lead the customer story program end to end. Find, prioritise and develop Frontier customer stories that match the OU Marketing Director's priority industries, solution areas and narrative.
"Feed the story engine." Build an always-on pipeline of customer nominations ahead of each major moment. Work with sales leaders to nominate customers ahead of Frontier Tour and other priority events.
Act as the single IMM point of contact for each customer. Lead the AE and customer engagement end to end, from nomination and approvals to final content.
Recommend the hero-story shortlist and PR-worthy stories, and agree them with the OU Marketing Director, Customer Advocacy and PR.
Get the most out of each story by reusing it across events, digital, sales enablement and leadership communications.
Frontier moments
Deliver the key Frontier marketing moments chosen with the OU Marketing Director and other IMMs, including (but not limited to):
o Frontier Transformation Days: Plan and deliver this targeted, invitation-only forum for senior customer leaders.
Build each day around a shared industry or transformation challenge, using customer proof, peer discussion and Frontier use cases.
o Frontier Tour: Play a key role in the delivery of the Frontier Tours in your Area. Examples include leading the market's customer story and advocacy work for the Tour. This covers hero-story selection, speaker readiness, customer invitations and in office customer experience.
o Ignite: Turn the major Ignite announcements into local customer moments that support OU priorities. Coordinate customer attendance, local follow-up activity and pipeline conversion.
o Executive Roundtables: Plan and run targeted executive roundtables aligned to the business priorities. Shape the agenda, coordinate customer invitations and speaker preparation, and deliver peer discussions on Frontier transformation opportunities. Partner with sales on follow-up to turn insights and engagement into clear next steps.
o Third-party (3P) moments: Find industry events, media opportunities and partner-led platforms in market and recommend them to the OU Marketing Director. Then run the approved moments to put Frontier customers and executives in front of target audiences.
Stakeholder leadership and ways of working
Work across GTM, sales, partner, PR, Customer Advocacy and regional CMO teams to execute one Frontier plan and calendar, as directed by the OU Marketing Director.
Brief and prepare customer executives for keynotes, panels and roundtables, in line with the OU Marketing Director's messaging.
Work as one team with other IMMs and solution-area leads so Frontier moments support the priority solution plays.
Reduce friction for sellers. Use established sales communities and Teams instead of adding more email follow-ups to chase customer invitations.
Measuring impact
Agree success measures with the OU Marketing Director before each moment. Track customer engagement, story output, executive attendance, pipeline influenced and progression.
Help refine future priorities and playbooks.
Skills and experience
