Role Description The Managing Director role at Deskera is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune Division. The Managing Director will oversee overall business operations, set strategic direction, and drive growth initiatives across key functions, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success. This role involves leading senior leaders and cross-functional teams, reviewing performance metrics, and ensuring that organizational goals are met through effective planning and execution. The Managing Director will collaborate with stakeholders to refine market positioning, manage budgets and resource allocation, and identify opportunities for expansion and partnership.



Day-to-day responsibilities include decision-making on business priorities, monitoring operational efficiency, maintaining strong governance and compliance standards, and representing Deskera in high-level internal and external engagements. Qualifications
• Solid leadership and people management skills, including experience guiding senior teams and fostering a high-performance, inclusive work culture.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, business development, and driving revenue growth in technology, SaaS, or related industries.
• Experience in operations management, financial oversight, and budget planning to ensure sustainable and efficient business performance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for internal collaboration and external partnerships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to inform product, sales, and marketing decisions.
• Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including interpreting KPIs and performance dashboards to guide strategy and improvements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is advantageous.
• Prior experience in managing multi-functional teams within high-growth or SMB-focused organizations is highly beneficial.
