I’m looking for someone who can help me operate better, think clearer and execute faster. I operate at a fast pace, think about multiple things simultaneously and enjoy exploring ideas that could turn into meaningful businesses. I value people who think independently, take ownership and get things done without needing to be micromanaged. This is not a conventional Executive Assistant role. I need someone who can become an extension of me, understand how I work, anticipate my needs and bring structure to the many things I do. What you will do 1. Manage my time and personal office
* Own my calendar, meetings, appointments, reminders and daily schedule.
* Help me prioritise what deserves my attention and protect my time for important decisions and strategic work.
* Prepare a daily briefing so I know exactly what matters, what is pending and what needs my attention.
* Plan and manage my domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, visas, itineraries and reservations.
* Coordinate personal appointments, fitness schedules and other commitments.
* Prepare meeting agendas, background notes and presentations before important meetings.
* Record decisions, assign action items and follow up until they are completed.
* Keep my important documents, contacts, bookings and records organised. I want to spend less time remembering things, coordinating logistics and chasing people, and more time doing the things that actually move my businesses and life forward. 2. Be my execution partner I have multiple ideas, projects and commitments running simultaneously. I need someone who can bring order to that complexity.
* Convert my conversations, ideas and instructions into actionable tasks with clear owners and deadlines.
* Maintain a master tracker of my projects, commitments and pending decisions.
* Follow up with my teams, vendors, consultants and business partners to ensure things move forward.
* Identify bottlenecks and delays before they become problems.
* Solve routine problems independently and bring me solutions when a decision requires my involvement.
* Ensure that important conversations don’t end without clear next steps.
* Prepare a weekly update covering progress, pending actions, upcoming deadlines and potential issues.
* Build systems that help me operate efficiently without having to personally oversee every detail. I don’t want to keep asking people for updates. I want someone who knows what is happening, what is stuck and what needs to happen next. 3. Help me run and grow Geetham Geetham is a growing restaurant business, and expansion brings a constant stream of projects, decisions and coordination.
* Coordinate with my leadership team across operations, finance, HR, Legal, procurement and other functions.
* Track new restaurant openings, expansion plans, operational projects and key business milestones.
* Follow up on deliverables and commitments made by different teams.
* Coordinate with landlords, consultants, vendors, investors and potential partners.
* Help me prepare for business reviews and important meetings.
* Research new opportunities in hospitality, accommodation, franchising and other adjacent businesses.
* Maintain visibility into important projects without interfering with the day-to-day responsibilities of my operations team. I need someone who understands that following up is not the same as micromanaging.
The objective is to ensure that decisions are implemented and that I have visibility into what matters. 4. Work with me on recent businesses and ideas I’m entrepreneurial by nature, and I regularly explore opportunities beyond my existing businesses. Some ideas will become ventures; others will remain experiments. I need someone comfortable navigating that uncertainty. You may be involved in:
* Developing and launching new brands and business concepts, including QSR and hospitality ventures.
* Researching markets, competitors, business models and potential partners.
* Coordinating designers, agencies, consultants and external collaborators.
* Preparing business proposals, presentations, pitch decks and research briefs.
* Supporting Sambar Cartel Studios with meetings, schedules, production coordination and external collaborations.
* Working on special projects that may not fit neatly into any one business. You don’t need to be an expert in every industry. You need to be resourceful enough to understand a new subject quickly, figure out what needs to happen and make it happen. 5. Research things and help me make better decisions I frequently need to evaluate options, understand new markets, identify the right people to speak to or make decisions quickly. I want you to:
* Research businesses, people, products, services, locations and opportunities.

* Draft emails, WhatsApp messages, meeting requests and professional correspondence on my behalf.
* Maintain a database of important contacts, conversations and follow-ups.
* Help prepare presentations, spreadsheets and business documents.
* Use AI tools to accelerate research, planning, summarisation and repetitive tasks, while verifying important information. I don’t need someone to send me 20 links and ask me to figure things out. I want someone to do the groundwork, filter the noise and tell me what they recommend and why. 6. Manage my travel and personal logistics Travel is a significant part of my life, and I want it to be well planned without becoming another job for me.
* Plan efficient travel itineraries based on my schedule, preferences and priorities.
* Research flights, hotels, destinations, restaurants and experiences.
* Manage bookings, transfers, visas and travel documentation.
* Keep all confirmations and itineraries accessible in one place.
* Coordinate my personal commitments alongside my business travel.
* Help organise content shoots, events and other creative commitments when required. I value thoughtful planning, attention to detail and the ability to anticipate problems before they occur. 7. Help me build a better operating system for my life I want to work towards a system where my important commitments, projects, travel plans and follow-ups are organised and accessible rather than scattered across conversations, emails and notes. You will be expected to:
* Build and maintain a reliable task and project management system.
* Identify repetitive work that can be simplified, delegated or automated.
* Keep my calendar, documents, contacts and project information organised.
* Establish simple processes that reduce unnecessary communication and follow-ups.
* Maintain strict confidentiality around my business, finances, relationships and personal life.
* Exercise discretion and good judgment when handling sensitive information. The goal is not to introduce complicated systems. It is to make my life simpler and my execution more consistent. Who I am looking for I care more about how you think and operate than the title on your previous job. You will probably be a valuable fit if you:
* Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
* Think two steps ahead and anticipate what I might need.
* Are exceptionally organised without being rigid.
* Can manage multiple projects without losing track of details.
* Are comfortable communicating with senior executives, vendors, investors and external partners.
* Have good commercial judgment and understand the value of time.
* Can distinguish between something that needs my attention and something you can resolve yourself.
* Write clearly, communicate confidently and follow up professionally.
* Are curious about business and enjoy learning new things.
* Can handle ambiguity, changing priorities and a fast-moving work environment.
* Are discreet, trustworthy and emotionally mature.
* Are comfortable using technology and AI tools to work smarter. Experience and qualifications

* Excellent written and spoken English; Communication in Tamil and Hindi are an advantage.
* Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, spread sheets, presentations, calendars and project management tools.
* Willingness to travel occasionally and accommodate a dynamic schedule when necessary. I am open to candidates from different backgrounds if they demonstrate exceptional judgment, initiative and execution. What I don’t want I don’t want someone who:
* Waits for me to provide instructions for every small task.
* Forwards problems to me without exploring possible solutions.
* Treats sending a message or making a phone call as the completion of a task.
* Needs constant reminders to follow up.
* Gets overwhelmed when priorities change.
* Confuses being busy with being productive.
* Shares confidential information or exercises poor judgment. Ultimately, I want someone who makes me more effective, not someone who simply keeps me organised.
