Role Description The Freight Broker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. The Freight Broker will identify, negotiate, and secure freight opportunities with shippers and carriers, ensuring competitive rates and reliable transportation solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing load bookings, coordinating dispatch, monitoring shipment status, and resolving any issues that arise during transit. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, providing timely updates, and ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.



The Freight Broker will also manage accounts, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency and revenue growth. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage, including rate negotiation, load matching, and carrier sourcing.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Account Management skills to build relationships, manage expectations, and retain clients.
• Candidates should possess Dispatching skills, including coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, tracking loads, and communicating with drivers and carriers.
• Relevant knowledge of logistics, transportation regulations, and supply chain operations is beneficial.
• Robust communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), spreadsheets, and basic computer applications is preferred.
• Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or transportation is an advantage; a diploma or degree in business, logistics, or a related field is beneficial.
