S. business hours About Contrast Capital Contrast Capital Management is an investment management firm specializing in international equity investing. We leverage investment research, data analytics, and technology to support our investment strategies and business operations. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Software Engineer – AI/LLM Applications to develop, deploy, and maintain modern web applications and AI-powered tools that support our investment research and operational workflows. This position offers the opportunity to work on practical AI applications, financial data systems, and proprietary software solutions while collaborating directly with our investment and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end full-stack web applications using up-to-date frontend and backend technologies.
• Build responsive user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs, preferably using Python, and integrate SQL databases.
• Integrate large language model APIs, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini, into production applications.
• Implement reliable LLM workflows with appropriate prompt handling, error management, and API usage monitoring.
• Develop AI-powered research, document processing, information extraction, and report-generation tools.
• Build and maintain secure authentication systems, role-based access controls, and appropriate data protection measures.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain applications using cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Integrate external financial data sources and automate internal business processes.
• Write clean, maintainable,



well-documented code and perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with investment and operations professionals to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts, project progress, and development challenges clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Qualifications
• Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of skilled software development experience.
• Demonstrated experience developing and deploying production full-stack web applications.
• Hands-on experience with backend APIs, SQL databases, and React/TypeScript-based frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, API integration, database management, and application deployment.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, preferably Python.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and maintain production applications.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate confidently and professionally in technical and non-technical settings.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, understandable English to colleagues and stakeholders without a technical background.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work remotely from India during evening hours that partially overlap with U.
S. business hours.




• Willingness to undergo a background verification process in accordance with applicable laws. Preferred Qualifications
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Python.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with React.js.
• Experience independently developing and deploying a full-stack application that integrates an LLM API.
• Practical experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or comparable AI model APIs.
• Experience implementing prompt management, structured outputs, API error handling, and LLM usage monitoring.
• Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), document processing, and AI-assisted research workflows.
• Experience implementing authentication and role-based access controls in production applications.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications on AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with financial data APIs, investment research tools, or financial technology applications.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, API cost optimization, and secure processing of confidential information.
