Role Description The Cluster Collection Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Varanasi, responsible for overseeing collection activities within an assigned cluster of branches or territories. The role involves monitoring daily collection performance, guiding and supporting field collection teams, and ensuring timely recovery of loans in line with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines. The Cluster Collection Manager will analyze collection data, identify high-risk accounts, implement appropriate follow-up strategies, and maintain accurate records and reports. This role also includes regular visits to branches and customer locations, resolving service issues, preventing delinquency,



and coordinating with branch managers and senior leadership to improve portfolio quality. The position requires consistent adherence to ethical collection practices and a strong focus on customer relationship management. Qualifications
• Proven experience in collections, recovery, or credit control within banking, microfinance, or financial services.
• Strong skills in portfolio monitoring, data analysis, and reporting to track collection performance and identify trends.
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate field teams, with solid people-management and conflict-resolution skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers, branch staff, and senior stakeholders.
• Familiarity with rural and semi-urban markets, preferably in financial inclusion or microfinance operations.
• Comfort with field-based work, including frequent travel within the assigned cluster.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications (MS Excel, MS Word, email) and digital reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a postgraduate degree in finance, management, or related fields is an advantage.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to lending and collections.
• Demonstrated integrity, customer-centric approach, and ability to work under targets and timelines.
