When an AI agent uses a developer product, it might read the docs, start signing up in a browser, authenticate, and make its first API call. Agentrail connects those steps so product and engineering teams can see which agents use their product, what they came to do, where they drop off, and whether a change helps more of them succeed. What you’ll do You’ll work directly with the founders to take features from the first product question through release. One question you might work on is “Why do agents read our quickstart but never make a successful API call?” You’ll figure out which events would answer it, build the integration to capture them, and turn that data into a view a developer can use.
• Connect events across docs, browser sessions, authentication flows, APIs, and MCP tools to reconstruct an agent’s path through a product.
• Build analytics that show where agents drop off, how long it takes them to reach a milestone,

and how completion changes after a release.
• Use customer feedback and telemetry to decide what to build or fix next. Write a short spec, ship tested code, review it with the team, and document how it works. Required qualifications
• You’ve worked in a fast-paced environment before. Be ready to walk us through something you shipped on a tight timeline, what you personally owned, and how you decided what could wait.
• You have hands-on experience with at least one of these areas: AI agents, developer tools, or analytics platforms. You should be able to explain something you built, integrated, or debugged in that space and how you knew it worked.
• You can build and test software in a modern programming language, work with APIs, and trace a problem across systems.
• You can scope your own work, explain technical decisions clearly, and flag a blocker early enough for a remote teammate to help.
• You’re pursuing or have recently completed a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or you have equivalent practical experience.
