We are seeking a dynamic Manager to drive international business growth, trade development and foreign direct investment (FDI) initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate will lead strategic outreach, identify high-value opportunities and build strong partnerships with businesses, government agencies and trade organisations. This role offers the opportunity to engage with senior stakeholders and contribute to impactful economic development and investment promotion across Asia. This is a business development and trade and investment facilitation role, helping companies expand across borders and connecting them with government agencies and partners. It is not a financial investment, wealth management, investment banking or equity research role. Key Responsibilties
• Identify, engage and nurture high-potential companies across the Asia-Pacific region seeking cross-border expansion opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to attract current investment projects.
• Facilitate investor meetings, B2B engagements and trade delegations of high quality and impact.
• Design and implement regional strategies for trade and investment promotion.
• Provide market intelligence and policy insights on Asia-Pacific markets to support outreach and client engagement.
• Plan and deliver business development missions, roadshows and promotional events in key markets.
• Build and manage relationships with investment promotion agencies, trade associations, chambers of commerce and government bodies.
• Collaborate with international partners and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective delivery of project objectives.
• Maintain and update the CRM pipeline for investor leads, meetings and project conversions.




• Track KPIs and prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports on business development outcomes.
• Ensure timely follow-ups, investor support and conversion of opportunities into tangible investment projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior project representatives supporting outreach and coordination activities.
• Work closely with internal teams (Research, Human Resources and Business Development) to ensure smooth project execution and reporting. Desired Skills and

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, International Business, Economics, International Relations or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years' experience in FDI promotion, trade promotion, international business development or market entry advisory.
• Strong understanding of Asia-Pacific markets, trade policies and investment trends.
• Proven experience in business development, client engagement and stakeholder management across multiple geographies.
• Experience working with government agencies, chambers of commerce, investment agencies or trade bodies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and government officials.
• Good research and reporting skills, with proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools (such as Zoho or Salesforce).
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage teams and deliver outcomes under tight timelines.
• High level of professionalism, cultural awareness and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel internationally for business development missions and promotional activities.

Experience:
4 to 7 years Please note: Candidates with more than 12 years of experience or an IT background are requested not to apply. Candidates whose experience is mainly in financial investment, wealth management, equity research or product sales are unlikely to be suitable.
