Job Description – Fuser Operator (Garment Industry)

Department: Production – Fusing Section
Designation: Fuser Operator
Grade: G6 – Worker
Reports To: Production Supervisor / Line In-charge

1. Job Purpose

To operate the fusing machine and ensure proper bonding of interlining with fabric components as per quality standards and production requirements.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Operate the fusing machine as per production requirements.

2. Set the required temperature, pressure and conveyor speed.

3. Check fabric and interlining before starting production.

4. Ensure proper bonding without bubbles, wrinkles or separation.

5. Maintain fabric alignment during the fusing process.

6. Monitor machine performance and report technical issues.

7. Avoid fabric damage, shade variation and fusing defects.

8. Follow daily production targets and quality standards.

9. Maintain cleanliness of the machine and workplace.

10. Follow safety procedures while operating the machine.
