Key Responsibilities

1. Manage procurement of Raw Banana and fresh vegetables, including Curry Leaves (Kari Patta), Ginger, Green Chilli, and other raw materials.
2. Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and freshness standards.
3. Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
4. Monitor market prices, price trends, and raw material availability.
5. Ensure timely material availability as per production requirements.
6. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, and Logistics teams for smooth procurement operations.
7. Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, delivery, and reliability.
8. Develop alternative sourcing channels to minimize supply risks.
9. Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, market data, and MIS reports.
10. Resolve vendor-related quality, delivery, and procurement issues.

Ideal Candidate Profile
1. Minimum 4 years of experience in raw material procurement.
2. Experience in fresh produce, agricultural commodities, or food-related raw material procurement would be relevant.
3. Solid understanding of supplier development, market pricing, and procurement planning.
