With extensive experience in planning, execution, and commissioning of chemical, slurry, and gas systems, the company has successfully completed numerous projects over the years. Specmax provides cost-effective design solutions covering calculations, drawings, fabrication, and installations for both greenfield and brownfield projects. Role Description This is a full time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for semiconductor and related industry projects, including piping layouts and equipment installations. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing CAD models and engineering drawings, performing calculations, supporting project planning and execution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with standards.



The role involves coordinating with project managers and site teams during installation and commissioning, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of designs and processes. The Mechanical Engineer will also support research and development activities to enhance system performance and cost-effectiveness. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to industrial projects.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and understanding of mechanical components and assemblies used in piping and equipment installations.
• Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
• Competence in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating engineering activities on-site.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) for mechanical systems, focusing on innovation and optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of industrial piping, semiconductor or process industry systems, and relevant standards is an advantage.
• Ability to work safely on-site, communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
