Location:
Coimbatore Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Design and Development of mechanical components and systems.
• Analysis of mechanical designs, including structural and thermal performance.
• Collaborate with engineers on multi-disciplinary projects, providing input and support in design, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Technical documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Participate in the assembly, testing, and evaluation of prototypes and product designs.
• Conduct research on new technologies and materials relevant to ongoing projects.
• Assist with failure analysis and contribute to design improvements.
• Work with team members to ensure all designs meet required safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and problem-solving sessions.
• Participates in conceptualization, modeling, analysis, development, documentation, and test/validation of hardware associated with new semiconductor equipment.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, sheet-metal fabrication processes




• Create ECO and co-ordinate with internal personnel to ensure smooth implementation.
• May develop and execute test plans that generate characterization data sufficiently to understand and validate the performance of the design
• Troubleshoot and resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the manufacturing, build and testing process. Requirements &

Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field with relevant experience of 2-4 years.
• Proven experience working with mechanical systems, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Proficient in CAD software for design and simulation purposes.
• Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes used in the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical components.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• BOM management and product life cycle management including ECR / ECO process.
• Good at American standard practices like ASME Y14.5 (GD&T;), AWS A2.4 etc
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to think out-of-box. Preferred
