A multispecialty hospital in Lakhipur, Goalpara District, Assam, is inviting applications from experienced Gynecologists for an independent clinical role in its Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department.

This opportunity is suited for a confident specialist with strong hands-on experience in LSCS, good OPD management skills and the ability to independently manage routine obstetric and gynaecological cases, surgeries and departmental responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Independently manage Obstetrics & Gynaecology OPD, inpatient care and patient follow-ups.
Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
Perform LSCS independently, with strong practical surgical experience.




Manage gynaecological surgeries and procedures within clinical competence and available facilities.
Be familiar with USG in OPD for relevant obstetric and gynaecological assessments, subject to applicable qualifications and regulatory requirements.
Manage routine emergencies with appropriate clinical support, escalation and referral arrangements.
Oversee day-to-day clinical functioning of the department and coordinate with the hospital team.

Candidate Requirements
MS / DNB / MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice.
Strong hands-on experience in LSCS.
Ability to independently manage OPD, obstetric cases and surgeries.
Familiarity with USG in OPD.
Good clinical judgement, communication and patient counselling skills.
