Job Description – EHS Officer

Experience: 3–5 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Safety, or Diploma/Graduate with a recognized qualification in Industrial Safety / EHS.

Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, including Factories Act requirements, TNPCB, DISH, EPR, Fire & Rescue Services, and PESO. Manage licenses, consents, annual returns, statutory records, and regulatory inspections.
ISO & EHS Management Systems: Implement and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems. Coordinate internal/external audits, customer audits, and CAPA closure.
Risk & Safety Management: Conduct HIRA, JSA, PTW and LOTO activities and manage contractor safety programs.
Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses through RCA and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
Emergency & Fire Safety: Maintain emergency response plans, conduct mock drills, and ensure proper maintenance of firefighting and fire protection equipment.
Environmental Management: Monitor air emissions, effluent treatment, hazardous waste disposal, water conservation, energy efficiency, and GHG reporting.




Training & Safety Culture: Conduct First Aid, Fire Fighting and EHS training, safety awareness programs, and Safety Committee meetings.

Candidate Requirements
3–5 years of hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing organization.
Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, incident investigation and emergency response.
Experience handling TNPCB/DISH/PESO/Fire-related compliance, audits and statutory documentation.
Valuable communication, training, documentation, and coordination skills.
3–5 years of hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing organization.
Solid knowledge of statutory compliance, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, incident investigation and emergency response.
Experience handling TNPCB/DISH/PESO/Fire-related compliance, audits and statutory documentation.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
