Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with 17–25 years of experience in Power Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing to manage raw material procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end raw material procurement for Power Transformer manufacturing.
Handle procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel, Transformer Oil, Insulation Materials and other critical materials.
Develop and manage suppliers and identify alternate sources.
Lead price negotiations, cost reduction and commercial finalization.
Monitor commodity prices and market trends for effective procurement.
Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and project requirements.
Evaluate suppliers based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).




Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Design and Finance for smooth procurement.
Monitor Purchase Orders, delivery schedules and critical material requirements.
Lead and guide the Purchase team.
Drive cost-saving, vendor development and inventory optimization initiatives.

Candidate Profile:
17–25 years of relevant experience in Purchase / Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
Candidates from Power Transformer / Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industries preferred.
Strong experience in raw material purchase and vendor management.
Good knowledge of procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel and Transformer Oil.
Solid commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
Experience with ERP/SAP preferred.
Solid leadership and team management capabilities.
