Position: Embedded Linux Device Driver Engineer – Lead

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, implement, and debug Linux device drivers for various hardware interfaces.
- Develop and maintain device drivers for USB, PCIe, Ethernet, Display, Camera, and other SoC peripherals.
- Analyse and resolve complex issues involving Linux kernel, hardware interfaces, and platform software.
- Read, interpret, and analyse hardware board schematics for device driver development and debugging.
- Work closely with hardware, BSP, and platform software teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Perform low-level debugging using JTAG, signal analysers, and other hardware debugging tools.
- Contribute to Linux kernel development, platform integration, and driver optimisation.




- Support software bring-up, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
- Participate in technical reviews and resolve complex engineering challenges.

Technical Skills

- Excellent programming skills in C.
- Solid hands-on experience in Linux Device Driver Design, Development, Implementation, and Debugging.
- Deep understanding of Linux Internals and Linux Kernel Architecture.
- Ability to read, analyse, and understand hardware board schematics.
- Knowledge of ARM or RISC-V processor architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Git and Yocto.
- Experience in hardware-level debugging using JTAG and Signal Analysers.
