Job Description – CCTV Technician

Position: CCTV Technician
Department: IT / Security
Location: Mohali
Experience: 2–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras and surveillance systems.
Handle DVR/NVR installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Monitor and maintain CCTV systems to ensure proper functioning.
Diagnose and resolve camera, recording, connectivity, and display issues.
Install and maintain CCTV cabling, connectors, power supplies, and networking equipment.
Configure IP cameras, switches, routers, and remote viewing systems.
Perform regular preventive maintenance and system checks.
Replace faulty cameras, cables, adapters, hard drives, and other CCTV components.
Maintain proper records of CCTV installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Coordinate with the IT and security teams for CCTV-related requirements.
Ensure all CCTV systems are working properly across offices, stores, sites,



and other company locations.

Requirements
ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or a relevant field preferred.
2–5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
Positive knowledge of CCTV, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, networking, and cabling.
Basic knowledge of LAN, routers, switches, and IP configuration.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to different company sites when required.
Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
