Position: Mechanical Maintenance Technician / Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Engineer responsible for repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment used in manufacturing and metal recycling operations.

Key Responsibilities
Repair and maintain hydraulic lifts, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, power packs and hydraulic pipelines.
Handle breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and production equipment.
Repair and maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, belts and pulleys.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Handle maintenance of conveyors, material handling equipment and industrial lifting systems.
Repair and maintain cranes, hoists and lifting equipment wherever applicable.
Perform welding, cutting, fitting and fabrication work when required.
Inspect machines regularly to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Replace damaged mechanical components and ensure proper machine functioning.




Maintain maintenance records and report breakdown issues.
Ensure workplace and machine safety during repair and maintenance activities.

Required Skills
Robust hands-on experience in mechanical machine repair.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience repairing hydraulic lifts and hydraulic equipment.
Knowledge of industrial motors, pumps, gearboxes and bearings.
Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills.
Basic welding, fitting and fabrication knowledge.
Ability to identify mechanical faults and repair machines independently.

Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Relevant hands-on industrial maintenance experience.

Experience
2–5 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance and machine repair preferred.
